Doggie Biscuits

Ingredients:

1 tbsp. of baking powder

2 1/2 cups of wheat flour

1 to 1 1/2 cups of 2 % milk

1 cup of smooth peanut butter (NO HARD NUTS)

1 egg

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 325 F.

In my kitchen aid, I mix the flour, baking soda for about 5 minutes.  Then measure a cup of milk and put 1 egg in it.  Then measure the peanut butter, add the peanut butter and milk to the flour.  Making sure it is all smooth.  It will be a bit sticky and thick.  You might need to add more milk depending.  It should be thick, sticky and moveable.  So not running or hard as a rock.  You can either make cookies, a big dollop (about 1 tbsp.) onto a cookie sheet.  I first put the bakers sheet onto the cookie tray then the cookie dough goes onto that.  Or recently, I went out and bought a tray that is shaped in biscuit shapes.  So that I can make cookies that look like a biscuit.

Bake for 35 mins, remove and let cool on or in tray for 5 minutes before removing and putting onto plate to completely cool.  I keep half in the fridge and freeze the rest for later.  Store in an air tight container.  Trust me, your dog will really like these treats.
