1 lb of ground beef
1 lb of ground pork
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
2tbsp of Ballantines finest scotch whiskey
2 large shallots finely diced
2 tbsp of white wine vinegar
3 tsp of garlic powder
2tbsp of parsley
2 tbsp of oregano
2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp of beef bouillon concentrate
2 tbsp of mustard grainy Dijon mustard
2 tbsp of sweet with heat PC mustard
2 tbsp of French’s bold and spicy mustard
4 to 6 tsp of horseradish I use hot
1/2 cup of Brie cheese
For caramelized onions:
1 red onions cut into long slices
2 tbsp of brown sugar
Some apple cider vinegar
9 buns and fresh buns are better, when ready to eat I toast the bun under the boiler and one one side I put old cheddar cheese on it
Toppings: like tomatoes, fried mushrooms, bbq sauce, ketchup, mayo, pickles, relish, lettuce and so on
Mix everything together except caramelized onion stuff. Mixing well. Once all mix then either fry, boiler, bbq or I use my irock grill. I spray the grill, also heat it before cooking. Scoop a 1/2 cup of mixture onto grill. Flatten mixture. Grill for 6 minutes a side.
Once all burgers are cook. Then I put them into a warm oven on a warmed plate. Now on grill I caramelize the red onions. So put some butter on the grill, add the red onion slices, 2 tbsp of brown sugar, mix frying. When the onions are getting see through and looking a bit sticky pour some apple cider vinegar over them and fry some more. You can also scrape in the juices from the burgers with your onions. Once they look caramelized and sticky then remove and but onto a plate or in a bowl. Scrape any remaining juices onto the onions. Serve the caramelized onion on top of the burger and everybody can add whatever toppings they like on their burgers like ketchup, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, fried mushrooms, bbq sauce, mayo and so on.
