For spicy hot sauce for meatballs, chicken, beef or pasta
1 cup jarred roasted sun-dried tomatoes, drained
1 1/4 tsp of Sambal Oelik ground fresh chili paste
5 small garlic clove
6 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
4 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
2 tsp. smoked paprika
Mix together, purée
When ready to use sever on top of meatballs, or chicken or beef
Or use it as a condiment on the side to spicy up dishes
Or use as a pasta sauce or put a bit into your pasta sauce to spice it up
Be inventive with the sauce.
If you really like hot species then you can put more chili paste into the mix.
But I like mine medium to hot.
I make ahead and let sit in fridge so flavours have time to increase in heat.
